It's too bad that great places like Game Pit have to close down. It was the most fun I've had as a teenager. I've made some cool friends and learned to pwn some newbs. The owners were super nice and always down to earth, they seemed to be knowledgable gamers and understood the industry very well. They held very fair and exciting tourneys too. I was hoping that would be their big thing, since they did it so well.
I think the only lan center left is euphnet and a few others. Good luck to them. It looks like a Japanese Restaurant is replacing the G@me Pit. Farewell, I'll always have good memories of this place.

This is a great place to take your kids for a little fn. I would only take older kids. The kids can get a snack and drink and play some of their favorites.
It depends... Reviewed by HelloMetro User on

The store is barebones, maybe it's called a pit for a reason. But how many gamers care about the scenery that's not on-screen? This little shop bills itself a a relatively cheap afternoon of entertainment (compared to a $10 movie, for instance). You can eat ice cream and drink soda, while playing the latest PC games or surfing on a blazing internet connection. And then you can pick up a Tee featuring your favorite character or game before you go. It may be the kind of place you'll want to go with a few friends and play against each other across an network while sitting near enough to scream.
